  • Outlook
Ryan aka "Special FX" is an explosive and extremely athletic player who can finish at the basket like few others because of his ability to play above the rim.  An amazing offensive rebounder with great physical strength who can excite the crowd with follow tip dunk.  Ryan can also shoot the 3-pointer with good accuracy. He also is a strong defender and is a shot-blocker because of his quick leaping ability.   A highly competitive player who plays with high energy. Very coachable, always working on ways to improve his game, plays hard and always hustles.
  • St John's Head Coach Norm Roberts on Williams: "Ryan is Mr. Energy. He is a guy that can be a tremendous offensive rebounder. He really came on late last year and did a tremendous job for us, ...I believe Ryan is going to be a big factor for us..."
  • Pro Basketball Experience
  • 2008       Eurobasket Summer League -- Salt Lake City CHAMPIONS (Sevilla Delta Jammers Play2Win)
  •  Eurobasket Summer League Director on Ryan Williams: He only played two games but scored 25 and 36 in each contest and was phenomenal and had some show-time dunks. This guy has a NBA body and the crazy athleticism and attacked the basket with an array of moves. If he would have played the final game he definitely would have been MVP and the game would have been a lot easier for the Sevilla team. He will make a team in Europe looking for a very athletic swing very happy.
  • “Ryan Williams was outstanding and unstoppable as he scored 36 pts, 7rbs, 5ast and 5 steals including some amazing dunks which were the highlights of the day at the ESL. He is definitely one of the most athletic players the ESL has seen this summer by far and he is difficult to stop as he gets to the basket at will. “
