Phillip is a scoring combo guard with good 3-point shooting range. Phillip is a PURE shooter and can
score anywhere on the court. He is a
player who knows how to put the ball in the basket. He is a strong rebounder
from the backcourt and is player who plays very good defense. Phillip is a good
passer and ball handler with good athletic ability. He can play either point guard or shooting guard
and is strong, physical and in-shape. Phillip rebounds, defends and knows how to

in Bradley basketball history, Phillip Gilbert ranks eighth in career
scoring with 1,689 career points and led the team in scoring each of his final
three seasons. Teamed with James Gillingham to form the first
backcourt combinations to simultaneously score 1,400 career points in Missouri
Valley Conference History Gilbert earned a spot on the Missouri Valley
Conference all-tournament as a freshman in 2001 and was a first-team
All-Missouri Valley Conference pick as a junior following the 2002-03 campaign
when he led the MVC in scoring at 18.9 points per game. He ranks second
in school history with 223 career three-pointers.
