Outlook

Marlo possesses the ability to score and create his own shot at anytime. Excellent shooter with a long rang that stretches the defense. Runs the floor well and is good finisher on the break. Great rebounder on the guard position. A solid defender. Can also play the forward.

Randy Lee – University of Texas of the Permian Basin Head Coach “Marlo has a pro body and mixes his ability to catch and shoot with his ability to attack the rim.  He displays an ability to shoot the ball through use of catch-shoot, one dribble pull-up and also with post-up fade-aways.  Marlo is a dangerous match-up as he also puts the ball on the floor and attack the basket.  This ability has led him to be a top scorer on the college level and also in his first season of professional basketball. As a big, physical guard, Marlo also offers the ability to back players down and take them to the low post to score.  This is another aspect of his game that makes him a future success.  Marlo is solid defensively and rebounds well at his position.  Although, he is an outstanding scorer, Marlo is a well-rounded player who should excel at the pro level.”

"Marlo is Incredible strong with an NBA body. Good three point shooter 50.6% and great athlete who will dunk on anybody in traffic. Did put up big numbers against every NCAA div 1 school team played. Great work ethic. Great person, coaches dream on and off the court."
by “Billy Mims - Florida Institute of Technology Head Coach”

Pro Basketball Experience
2008  Eurobasket Summer League, Salt Lake City, Utah - Team Rotterdam
named
Eurobasket Summer League (ESL) All-Tournament Team
“This guy is a stud and played with a lot of heart during the weekend in Salt Lake City. Marlo is super athletic and attacks the basket with lots of intensity and is a natural scorer with a decent jump shot. Against Sevilla he was probably the lone bright spot for the Rotterdam team and he took his game to another level compared to his team mates who were overwhelmed. Marlo did a little bit of everything and is a quality prospect for Europe.”

"Marlo is strong well-rounded player. He posses the ability to score from anywhere on the floor. He is an excellent 3 pt shooter who can really stretch the defense out.  He really helped turn around the London Capitals club during the 2006-07 season. He is a great person on and off the court and I'm confident that he can play at any level."
