Trend brings defensive intensity and energy, a hard work ethic and the ability to block and/or change shots with his 7-foot wingspan. 07-08: played 27 games for a Marquette team that advanced to 2^nd round of the NCAA post-season Tournament and finished ranked 21^st in NCAA.  Trend finished 2^nd on the team in blocked shots. Against Savannah St and Coppin St.pulled down 5 rebounds in only 13 minutes played and 18 minutes with 2 blocks (vs. Coppin St.)…scored 7 points in 4 minutes against Providence…6 points and 2 blocked shots against Notre Dame… registered 2 blocked shots in 6 minutes vs. Seton Hall and another 2 blocked shots against South Florida in 7 minutes.
06-07: played 14 minutes against Detroit (Nov. 13), scoring six points, grabbing two rebounds, blocking a shot and recording two steals ... scored a career best eight points and had a career high seven rebounds against Eastern Mich. (Nov. 18) ... tallied a career high two blocks in 11 minutes vs. North Dakota State (Dec. 2) ... scored four points in 12 minutes against UMBC (Dec. 16) ... in a career long 20 minutes scored six points and grabbed three rebounds vs. Morgan State (Dec. 22).
